Rabbit Rock | location & description | |
Description |
||
The
big rock opposite the "Buondormire beach" has a peculiar shape. With the head
facing the shore and the body towards the open sea, it remembers a
rabbit. Someone prefers to imagine a whale. The Interesting part for
diving is the 30 metres long tunnel crossing the neck, whose entrances
open between -7 and - 16 metres of depth. The walls are rich of life and
remind, in their small way, the Grotta Azzurra (The Blue Cave), The area
of the Rabbit Rock is situated at the mouths of Lambro and Mingardo
rivers and visibility is not always good. Moreover mud is all around the
rock. |
